Selma
This is a tiny little book, sized at just 4 x 6. It would make a great stocking stuffer or inexpensive choice for a gift exchange.
Selma is a sheep who loves to eat grass in the meadow, nap, play with her children and visit with the neighbors. She is content with her lot in life. When asked what she would do if she had more time or won the lottery, Selma answers that she would eat grass in the meadow, nap, play with her children and visit with the neighbors.
Reading this simple book is a good reminder that we should appreciate what we have. It's easy to get caught up in the rush of the holidays, running here and there to grab a hot toy, the pressure to find a good gift for your brother-in-law.
Take your cue from Selma and slow down. Enjoy your family during the holiday season and visit with your neighbors. The eat the grass part is totally up to you.
